Your Airborne and air crew members are by far my most favorite. I would love to see them all lined up. But your old school Sgt Savage just looks like what Duke should be. Tough old Bastard. Don't get me wrong your Duke is the best depiction of him ever, and he has that air of refinement/education that Savage doesn't nor should. Something that Channing Tatum was sorely missing.
How Did you decide against making Barrel-Roll an officer. I mean I never knew anything about Flight Engineers, so your explanation makes total sense. Yet in the Comics he is Lt. Stall. |

The filecards are in a much higher resolution and I don't link directly to them (they are in a resolution that exceeds the maximum allowed for in HISStank), but you can read all 170+ of them by clicking on the Filecard Project link in my banner below. If the banner isn't showing up for you for some reason, you can click on the following link: Modern GI Joe and Cobra Files pictures by dltesterzfd - Photobucket Thanks for expressing an interest in the work |

Yeah he pretty much is always referred to as Lt Stall in the comics. He only has about 4 or 5 appearances.

So here's something I've been thinking about.
I'm thinking of including (gasp!) Cobra-La in my Cobra Consolidated, LLC roster. I had so much fun trying to make goofy characters like Raptor and Crystal Ball grounded in reality, that I'm thinking I'll probably have at least as much fun re-creating the goofiest characters of them all. Here's the abbreviated pitch: Cobra L.A. (get it?) is Cobra Consolidated's West Coast branch office in California (the main office is located in downtown Manhattan, a lá the Cobra Consulate building). It's headed by Ulysses Golob, a Slovenian-American executive (Golob is a common Baltic surname) with ties to an old aristocratic family in Europe. He's got a bunch of bodyguards from "the old country" (a "Royal Guard" so to speak) led by the brutish Neίmein Ingvarsson and Pythona (I haven't come up with a "real name" for her, but in my mind's eye I can see her looking like Kim Kardashian). |

I love it. Go with it.
Hey, my cat's name is Neimen. Yeah, Barrel Roll is an LT in the comics, but I think busting him down to Sargeant makes all his various "jobs" work better. If he was an LT, he'd almost have to be a fighter pilot, but that wouldn't work with the sniper part. So I think what you've done makes BR work where before he didn't, as we spent pages trying to get him to work in the filecard thread.

What about the snake Tail? I use to use Golobulus as the Cobra Chancellor when I still played with him. He exists in my universe as a Bio-Engineering Genius who is basically a slave to Cobra since they found that the Bio Armor they wear is killed on contact by a can of Lysol. Most people don't know that but Cobra Commander does.

Cool name for a cat. I'm going with the alternative spelling of "Neimein" though, since it's also coincidentally the Latin spelling for the Greek word νείμειν, which roughly means "retribution" and is, indeed, the etymological root of the English word "nemesis."
Thanks, glad you like it. It was based off of a Sniper Wolf (a character from Metal Gear Solid) picture composited with an image of a female soldier. Quote:
