Thanks. Yeah, the original Mutt filecard seemed to go out of its way to mention his Jungle Warfare and Airborne schooling, so I wanted to highlight those in the updated filecard as well, by mentioning his cross-training at Camp Gonsalves and his joining the 108th MP Company (the only unit in the Army that officially bear the twin ABN and AA designations, although of course, in practice, they aren't the only ones who conduct air assault and airborne ops).

Stellar work. Again, if the future lines of GI Joe looked like your interperetation, then I would not have a single complaint.

Fantastic stuff yet again, z. I really like what you've done with Steeler. I always had some lingering doubts about him in such a prominent leadership position, but I can really buy in now. I still think the cards are hitting on all cylinders on about half of the cards. Some do a much better job of answering not only where they've been and what they know, but who they are. Had that not been on any cards, I don't think I would've missed it much. But since it is and so splendidly done, it makes it stand out more for the cards that lack that sentence or two. I'd even go so far as to say those cards seem a bit hollow in comparison.
Still, you're doing great work and a service to the community. I can't wait for the next update since I think Stalker and Mercer (I'm particularly curious to see what you cooked up for Stratton) will be in that update. |

Yeah, Mercer's going to be a bit of a pain, since writing a comprehensive filecard for him will require that I've fleshed out the whole VIPER set-up (which I haven't). But onwards and upwards and all that.

These are looking good. I went back and checked out Duke and Hawk which you said had been updated. Like both any others you updated?
I like the new ones I see as well. Really like what you did for Big Lob. What exactly is the "Special Forces Combat Course-Support?" Dodger sounds great as well. Like seeing Hard Drive as well. He's one of those over the top characters who I think is what the Joes are probably made up of. But can't wait to see Mercer myself.

It's a short course for male combat support/combat service support soldiers assigned to the 528th Sustainment Brigade (which used to be called the Special Operations Support Command) and/or attached to ARSOC units. It basically teaches advanced infantry skills (emphasizing marksmanship and small unit tactics) to non-combat arms soldiers (like those in logistics roles) who are forward-deployed in support of Army Special Operations Command units. |

The weekend update:
EDIT: Link updated, see next page or click on the "Filecard Project" link in my signature Besides the ten new files, I've also revised a number of previously posted files. Some changes are extensive (like Shipwreck's), others have only had minor changes (changes in schooling, for example, to better reflect temporal and geographical settings). Of course, these are by no means the last revisions, I'm just revising as I go along with the copy-editing. Thanks for looking guys! Last edited by zuludelta; 07-04-2010 at 02:42 PM..
