The details are what brings it all together Z. It really grounds it in reality.

Yeah, cutting loose all the dead weight from the roster really freed me up in terms of the writing. I'm a little over a third done with the individual files. I'll be going out of the country during the latter portion of this month, though, so it might be July by the time I collate everything into a finished document. Man, I feel like in many ways I know the characters better now than I ever have. Great job. Looks like you're about halfway done? The only critique I have is that I'm not particularly fond of the new design. It seems a little dark both from the monitor viewing angle and from a printer ink usage standpoint. Just a thought.

Nice additions. Did you always have Breaker as Special Forces? I had decided to do it in my verse, but maybe I got that from you. You have Covergirl as USMC?
Sneak Peek and Bazooka look great too. I might be with MT on the dark grey background. I like the color, but I wonder since the type/font seems so small it doesn't stand out as well against the grey background unless you zoom in.

Revised version with the typo corrected and the colour revised:
Also, if you guys hadn't noticed it before, I've expanded Short-Fuze's flavour text a bit, giving reasonable (in my estimation) reasons for why he's using a non-standard (for the US) mortar of European origin (a lightweight, one man, M6C-210 commando 60mm mortar, which is the closest thing to the weapon that the original ARAH toy came with)... going with an M224 mortar (the smallest mortar the US military uses) would have required him to be fielded with a full mortar crew, and there's just no way to do that with the existing ARAH roster without doing a whole lot of fidgeting and fussing and going against my concept for GIJOE. Additionally, surprised that no one's mentioned the surname I gave Sgt. Savage. It's a little nod to the toy's surname without turning it into a cheesy "real name as codename". Looks good Zulu. I missed the Short-Fuze thing.
I guess you have a way to explain Savage's surname? I know you don't typically use the codename surname combination, which you explained with Slaughter. So what gives with Dvaljak? (sp?) I know you said you used one of Sgt Slaughters earlier stage names instead of Remus, but Savage doesn't have that background?
