Great job as always. What is all the stuff attached to Crazyleg's rifle? Looks like a cap to go over something?

The new images look good. I liked the desaturated reds slightly better, but these work very well too. If nothing else, they still look realistic and they not only help distinguish these characters, it helps those that only have the browns and greens stand out a more themselves. My only concern is that now characters like Flash and Grand Slam look unfamiliar missing their stronger colors.
Thanks! The device on top of the forestock is a laser target pointer/designator while the thing on the side (with a cap on it) is a GLARE MOUT, a miniaturized low-power version of the GLARE LA-9/P dazzler weapon I assigned to Flash. Last edited by zuludelta; 05-26-2010 at 12:42 PM.. |

Digging the new images, z (save Ripcord's arms looking too long and/or his torso and legs too short). The organizational stuff looks good, although it's hard to get a clear picture until the assignments are released. I can say that I like what you've done with the Recon Element and am very curious about how that team shakes out. Can't wait. On the subject of vehicles, I've never had a tremendous attachment to them. It's why I overall prefer the six inch scale as well (it's a close contest, though).

Blizzard and Bullhorn are dynamite.
If the Joe team is a recon/intel unit, how does that translate into battles with Cobra? Point of recon/intel is to not get into engagements right? Vehicles are tricky. From your personal POV, and it is your personal project, they aren't as important. But for the majority of the fans, vehicles are just as important as the characters. I'm on the fence. Some of 'em I can do without and some of 'em just so iconic that they need to be included somehow. But that gets into the whole discussion we've had in the filecard thread, with those vehicles comes maintenance and transportation of those vehicles. It's a can o' worms that might not be worth opening up.
