... continued from previous post...
Took a break from writing the filecards to re-work some images I wasn't completely happy with the first go-round: Bad News, Archive, Raven, Chuckles Design notes:

It originally started out as Natalie Portman, if you can believe it.

That's probably why I like it so much. Always had a thing for Portman, lol

Mayday - I'm going to assume she's not going into battle dressed like that right? It seems a bit...er...unprotected?
I Like that you actually made a Sgt. Archive picture. I was actually looking at the Bellomo book earlier thinking that was a cool character. Chuckles also looks appropriately bad-ass. |

Thanks! One of the most difficult things when it comes to mocking up a Chuckles image is making a guy in a loud Hawaiian shirt look seriously dangerous (and not "creepy old guy at the beach" dangerous, I mean "he can kick your ass seven ways from Sunday" dangerous). |

Thanks!
Depends on which version of Storm-Shadow you're talking about. In the Sunbow cartoon, yeah, he abhorred the use of firearms (IIRC, he even gave the Dreadnoks a mini-lecture on it). But in the Marvel comics, he frequently used firearms (during his time as a LRRP in Vietnam, when he had taken up his ninja identity as a member of Cobra, and after he'd gone into semi-retirement). |

BTW, for those of you who pay attention to the Picasa album I link to in my signature, you'll note that I've changed some of the code-names for the characters I've adapted from the Argentinian GI Joe line and the other non-ARAH based figures. I've replaced some of their code names with the discarded code names previously used for prototype versions of the filecards intended for certain Joes (for example, I changed "Sparrow", the code-name I came up with for the Argentinian Cover Girl repaint originally called "Sparta", with "Sprite", one of the candidate code-names for the toy that would eventually become Lady Jaye). Nothing major and nothing casual fans will notice, but I figure you guys who are familiar with the un-used/discarded code names listed in Mark Bellomo's book might appreciate them.

That works Z. I'll have to check out the album and see which you changed.
On Storm Shadow with guns: I remember that Sunbow. The Dreadnoks were showing three Cobra Troopers (including one fat one) how to destroy stuff using their tools of the trade. Storm Shadow laughed at them and then destroyed a tank by cutting it with his sword. He cut a tank into pieces with a sword. Using a gun fits more with a ninja, who would use whatever is available to do the job.
