I added it around the second revision, which was maybe 8 months ago (man, that feels so long ago). Thanks! O-7. Quote:

Still all the background info is amazing. How do you keep all those operations straight? You're like a walking encyclopedia of US military operations. I assume you'll run into a point where various Joes will have participated in the same operation. Still there are so many units in the military these guys may never cross paths. But I assume with you, some will and you would have done it on purpose.

I have for now. Between Austin, Sharpe, and Hollingsworth, the organization was getting a little too top-heavy, so I got rid of Austin and Hollingsworth and kept the guy most casual and serious GIJOE fans are probably familiar with (Sharpe). He's also the most distinctive of the three service-wise, since he's a Marine whereas Austin and Hollingsworth are Army guys like the bulk of the Joe team... figured the team needed more service diversity. |

Heh. Not consciously, no, but now that you mention it, yeah, that might have been a bit of my real-world interests leaking in to the filecard

Spent some time tweaking some old images I wasn't entirely happy with in-between writing filecards:
Top: Big Lob, Dynamite Bottom: Stone, Sparrow Design notes:
Thanks for looking! |

I liked the old Sparrow one better, but this is pretty cool as well. The face looks plastic though.
The others are cool. I like the leaner Big Lob and Dynamite looks like he'd just as soon blow your head off then look at you.

Updated the Sparrow image... you might have to clear your browser's image cache to see the new pic.

Sparrow looks good. Real Good. I liked the other Sparrow as well so its a toss up for me. Girls in Leather look good even if its a leather Jacket.
Did you have a Stone Character from before? I thought you made Drake a combo of all the Stone characters. (Cutter is a Stone also. I wonder if they are all cousins? ) But that tears it for me. I was debating picking up a Best of GIJoe Battles CD pack Duke. I was using a VvValor Duke for Stone, but I wanted a ME Update. What role is this Stone? Dynamite looks good. Just like the figure. Big Lob looks good too, although I liked the first one a lot as well. This one looks tougher.

OK I just went back through the Picasso Album to catch any differences. The Stone in there looks great, although I like Kurt Russell. Airwave and Altitude are still my favorites, Although Gung-Ho is pretty close, but I'm biased.
But there are so many I forgot about in there. Lots of good work Zulu. Thunder, Super-Trooper, Steeler, Rumbler, Ripcord, Recoil, Raven, Rapid-Fire, Ozone, Mouse, Mojave, MERCER, Med-Alert, Mayday, MACE, Lady-Jaye, Komodo, Jinx, Hawk, Grid-Iron, Grand-Slam, Flint, Falcon, Free-Fall, Double-Blst, DROP-Zone, Cover-Girl, Cloud-Burst, Cannon-Ball, Bushido, Chameleon(Girls in Leather), Breaker, Blizzard, and Barrel-Roll, and Armadillo. Just a short list.

He'll be the Tactical Intelligence Platoon leader. I was worried that he'd look like a throwback to the 1960s, but I dug the toy design so much I decided to remain faithful to it. Glad you like this newer version. |
