Damn Cabang makes too much sense. Now I have to come up with something. I've been using V1 Surefire as Tjbang, but the codename doesn't fit.
Basing my ninja force off your protective services unit, I made them into a Marine FAST unit of sorts. So Tjbang is V1 Surefire Nunchuck is Shockwave V2 Banzai is Shockwave v2 with a Downtown head Mojo is a mix of VvV parts using VvValor Wildbill's head I think the sidearm makes the difference on Nunchuk |

I've been thinking about having the admin and food service jobs just be Fort Hamilton's responsibility (I'm writing it as Fort Wadsworth's supporting garrison), sort of like how the the 75th Ranger Regiment, before it got its own special troops battalion, got its combat service support from the Fort Benning garrison. Ah, good distinction. I guess the point I was trying to make was that John excels in multiple martial arts, unlike many of the guys getting into MMA these days who are jacks-off-all-trades but masters-of-none (to me, there's nothing worse than watching two MMA fighters who are mediocre boxers/kickboxers try to keep a fight standing up, and then the minute the fight goes to the ground, it turns out that they're mediocre wrestlers/jiujitsu practitioners as well ). |

Yeah, I know. I was already happy with the earlier Nunchuk image but when I added the shoulder holster it just make him look that much better.

Fair enough. But there are plenty of mediocre boxers/kickboxers in boxing and in kickboxing and the same goes for wrestlers and jiujitsu. MMA's a young sport too. Some of the kids who are coming up now have been training Boxing/MT/Wrestling/BJJ their whole lives and it shows. The next ten years are going to be a lot of fun to watch (hopefully you don't have beef with Dana like you do with Stern; I'd hate for you to miss out on great eras in b-ball AND MMA). |

Before Vorona was introduced as part of the G.I.Joe team, she was Diana of the Oktober Guard. She was introduced along side of Mayday,Mariner,Depth Charge and Barrel Roll. So will you be giving her an upgrade into the Joe team.

EDIT: Just wanted to add, this isn't just a UFC problem... it's the same promoter-cum-sanctioning-body issue with Strikeforece and Bellator and all the other also-rans. Until a legitimate third party sanctioning body for MMA comes out with the authority to actually enforce across the board ranking-based matchmaking, we'll be in a position where the fights that should be made to determine true lineal champions in the sport might not get made because of issues between promoters. The presence of the WBA as the most authoritative third party sanctioning body back in the 1960s, in my mind, helped make the heavyweight boxing title the single most prestigious sporting achievement back in the day, and I think MMA needs something like that to propel it into the true sporting mainstream and not just something for the SpikeTV crowd (boxing today needs something like that as well, but at least boxing has the "Ring Magazine title" which has become the only boxing title that means anything anymore, even if it only exists on paper). I'll be keeping her as part of the Oktober Guard. The Guard are a ways away on my to-do list (sometime late this year), though, as I have them scheduled after I finish Cobra. Spent the weekend refining and revising the order of battle. Here it is in its final form:
It's basically the same as the diagrams I've posted before, although cleaned up and made more intelligence operations-specific. I've also ditched the utility aviation element (which has always given me problems seeing as how its so different from everything else) for a recon aviation element (based on the GRCS flight sections employed by INSCOM). All expeditionary air transport for the agency will be handled by AMC (Air Mobility Command) instead, which is why I've added an Air Mobility Command Liaison position to the Office of the Director. Oh, and here's the next entry in my continuing attempts to update the goofball Ninja Force characters: Dojo |

Awesome order of battle Zulu. Dojo looks cool too, never really really liked the Mogu incarnation. You've captured the spirit of the original ninja force figures

Thanks!
Glad you like it. I feel like I've been waffling too much on it these past few weeks, but I think it was partially because I had no firm sense of direction where I wanted to take GIJOE. Is it a Tier One counter-terrorist group รก la DEVGRU or SFOD-D? Is it a special operations-capable airborne light infantry unit like the 75th Ranger Regiment? Every time I'd go in either direction, I'd find reasons why it wouldn't work out: the logistics requirements would be unreasonably high (particularly if you throw in the aviation element), there just aren't enough legit combat arms personnel in the classic ARAH Joe roster, etc. It was only in the past few weeks, after reading about Winston Churchill's Special Operations Executive (a.k.a. "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare," a.k.a. "Churchill's Secret Army") from WWII that I finally hit upon a template that I think works and doesn't make GIJOE a redundant limb of government, and structuring GIJOE like a tailored military intelligence battalion is my way of approximating the SOE's set of capabilities. Thanks (oh, and I think you meant Mojo, not Mogu ). |
