It's not perfect obviously, but it's inarguably the right direction. It's fresh and fun - much better than anything we've seen from the powers holding Joes reins. It's high praise, though sadly not unsurprising in these times, to say that you have captured a more serious tone and sparked more interest from me (and undoubtedly anyone who views this) with a comparably meager budget working on weekends than a multi-million dollar film. This is literally ten times more interesting than ROC to me. Oh, and BTW I like this better than Resolute too and that wasn't bad so... Very nice work.

But just wait until we reveal the big secrets! I.e. How this ties in to the origin of the current and greatest incarnation of Cobra...

I should hope so.

PART 4 IS FINALLY HERE! Watch first issue FINALE, where questions are answered and more are raised!
MORE CUSTOMS! MORE ART! NEW ART TECHNIQUES! What's Axis Cobra Commander up to? FIND OUT HERE! PART 4: REFRESH YOUR AXIS MEMORY! Read parts 1-3 part 1: part 2: part 3: Cobra: Axis Power is a two-issue action-figure comic book project currently in progress! Part 4 marks the halfway mark in this series, and issue #2 is due in August! This project has been developed for amusement purposes only, intended for the entertainment of my fellow 'tankers and to feed my own desire to tell comic book stories. "Axis Power" takes place during WWII before the bombing of Pearl Harbor and unveils the mystery of Cobra Commander's greatest secret: his Cobra was NOT the first. The story even fits into the continuity of the Marvel and DDP comic series! |

No, it doesn't fit into that series because that was sort of an 'elseworlds' story. GI Joe VS TF (jae lee series) does NOT fit into the continuity, while Cobra Axis does, although CLEARLY this is unofficial and fan-made.

Back to the Project itself... i've saw it already. some weapons are slightly "ahead of its actual entry". like Panzershreck, and german semi auto rifle (?.. during Col. Colblud's ambush on German Panzer 4 D (?) convoy) ... or is that rifle actually Italian carcano? (the story said that those COBRA troops are drawn from italian Blackshirt... do they?) Did Cobra really invent Bazooka before either U.S. or Germany? Can't wait to see part#5 meow~ |
