I've been using Joe redesigns to practice with Blender for the past year or so. But I've always held back on posting because I always get tired of creating greebles without a satisfactory parts library plug-in. but why not toss 'em out there for you guys too, huh?

Thanks! They're pretty sloppy still, but in time. I'm in a similar position as you - I do have a printer but it's barely decent enough for test shots, and frankly, I have a lot of solidifying and connection placements to do if I wanna shell these out for real.

Which printer do you have? I’m still researching which will be ideal size wise and then trying to balance budget and quality. I could technically print everything on an Ender2 which is only $200. But for instance I could only print like 3 tires together with that build volume in a single print. |

I've got em, they're vital! You may also want to look into Boxcutter and HardOps if you haven't yet. They really streamline booleans in Blender like nothing else.
I'm actually not certain on the model of our printer, it was built by a buddy and admittedly, I haven't fiddled with it as much as I'd like to just yet. I do have access to a Form 2 (which is fantastic) and an array of laser cutters, CNC mills, and a few other printers. I've still got a ways to go before I get serious on any of that though since printing and cutting costs add up pretty quick. |

Here's how the M.O.B.A.T. MK.2 is coming along. Upgrades include dual hull-mounted rail cannons and fully enclosed driver compartment. (as you might have spotted in other models)

Looking sharp so far! Are the treads intended to move independently from the chassis?

I love most of that Stellar Stiletto, but I think the long nose needs to get chopped off. Follow the contour of the canopy and terminate the nose where it looks more natural. The angle change and length just look bizarre.
