Very cool guys. If I had any ideas on how to do the *rest* of the costume, I would definitely get one. Though, it would look cool sitting on the shelve.

I liked them until I saw the "ears". I don't recall those from the original figure and I don't like the look of them. What made you do that?
Where did you purchase the visor material and how did you mold it to the shape of the hood? I was skeptical about the "gills" on the front, but they look much better after you put the silver visor behind them. Do you know if casting these was more expensive than just doing fiberglass? Seems like casting starter kits are expensive as hell. I'm curious to know what it cost to do a large piece like that. Mathius |

Like I said when I started this thread I based most of this sculpt off of the 25th with a nod to the 86 fin. As for the "ears" and "gills" if you have to really ask about them you haven't seen the 25th version. I'm very sorry if you are unhappy with my sculpt or how we finished it but for future reference if you want to know something or want help you should be a little less back handed when posting. Individuals maybe more willing to answer...If you ask around we believe in high quality, durable, and funtional pieces. Thanks P.S. Never question your Emperor! (LOL... Sorry I've been waiting to use that line.)

Sorry I've been waiting to use that line.) I never said anything about them not being durable or functional. In fact I asked questions about the materials used, but it's apparently a big deep dark secret. You guys are making a stink about good business practices, but I have to question how it's good business to get offended so easily and refuse to share what should be common knowledge. Yeah, Coke or Pepsi won't give away their recipe, but they have to list the ingredients by law. You guys won't even tell what material the visor is made out of like someone's going to copy your work and steal from you. Or maybe you're just being spiteful because I didn't like your finished product. I don't know which. Enjoy your helmet. Sorry I asked. Just one more thing: Ask yourself this question. If I had been a potential customer wanting you to do a commission, how likely do you think I would be to choose you guys now after the answers you gave? Mathius |

I'm "backhanded" because I said I didn't like the ears on your helmet? You kids have some growing up to do. Not everyone is going to like what you do.

I'm not taking it personally. Hell I don't even like my work 98% of the time. I don't always love different versions of characters either. My biggest gripe is that if you look at the 25th and this helmet they are very close. The ears and gills are on the 25th. I guess I'm just suprised you didn't know it.
I only recently found the Hisstank forum to discuss them again. Times are tough and I just started a new career two years ago, so I have a few more years of school before I will be splurging for Joes again. Mathius |
