Wow. You make a lot of thoughtful and smart choices. You use the lighting and angles and placement of your shots very well to direct mood and projection. They really are pretty stunning to look at and figure out.

How have i missed this thread?
Freaking amazing. And, after seeing the shots with the Cobra Eels, we now know both which is where the danger is, and what the danger at the dock is. Tutorials would be nice, i know they are time consuming. I have to say though, you could give us a step by step on how you build things and we still wouldn't look as good as yours because you have that eye for layout and detail, posing, lighting etc that you can't really teach. |

I add a little PVA glue to the water I use on the plaster. I don't really know if that works, but I do it nonetheless haha! I like to think that the glue makes the plaster adhere more to the board and styro. I also tint the water with a little india ink to make it look like cement. Plus, I hate the look of plaster chipping and revealing stark white. Then, I use wall scraper to apply the plaster for that even application and when it dries. I sand the plaster to remove the bumps and that's it, it's all base paint and washes after that.
