Lines/Colors/3D iDz Bowl's Megaman/Joe Crossover Art

Now mind you, every picture I make I pull from the internet originally. I get permission if there is someone that claimed the original work. I then pull other pictures of the character I'm going to make and I get to work. I spend hours per each character. I should really work with colored pencils or that Bamboo pad (i've never used), but I do most of this at work. I use Microsoft Paint for these and you know anything about that program, I'm doing everything pixel by pixel. Sometimes zooming in at 800% to get the details down. I'll just post the pictures that I've made, I will keep the originals in an album on here (when I get time to upload them). That way it wont take to long to load the page, if you want to compare them, just check out my album.

Working on Wily/Mindbender right now, but I also have to have a Darth Vader crossover done by this afternoon. My youngest son is hanging these on his door, right next to his G.I.Joe certificate (making him an official Joe). As long as I keep making him smile, it's all good!

yeah paints a pain in the ass to "draw" in, I'm an old school artist, despite a GD degree, which I acquired years ago and is likely all but obsolete, illustration via the ole path of pencil n paper is where its at. art programs dehumanize and disconnect the art and the artist IMO. these look great though. cool concepts.

Yeah Vipe, I wish I had the talent to draw on paper. Everything I do on paper looks akward, maybe it's because I try to teach myself everything instead of getting lessons. I recently bought a Bamboo pad and it came with Photoshop. I've used it a couple times and I'm really impressed. I think it's because I'm actually drawing and not using a mouse. I think it will be much easier than using paint to fool around with. It literally takes me hours (many) to produce these types of pictures (like above). And one thing that sucks, if you have to save them, you have to be careful of what type of file you save them as. I only use paint so much because it's all I have at work to mess around with.
