The first Evil Dead is still straight-up horror, rather than tongue-in-cheek humour like the other 2. It's really impressive to see what they did on a barely-there budget, and reading about it in Bruce's book If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor made it even more interesting.
Yep, that bike is great for the Dreadnoks! It's Oil Slick from the Transformers Animated toyline. You can probably find him pegwarming at your local store.

Not always a good thing though. Early in his career Rob Leifeld was actually a good comic artist, and then he found his unique style and turned into the guy who did this... |

I understand and agree. But I don't think Rob was ever that good of an artist. Things like his proportions, poses, and feet REALLY bother me. Case in point, that Cap you posted and most of his drawings of women.

It's that time for the June Q & A. Since #5 was such a success, I chose to include some of the long time readers again. This Q & A is even bigger than last months.
This question was submitted by Monkeywrench: 1. The Willow arc is one of my favorite arc’s. Will we ever see Willow again? This question was submitted by Monkeywrench: 2. Issue 50 is coming up! Do you have any specific plans for this issue that you can share with us? This question was submitted by Monkeywrench: 3. So far the use of The Baroness has been brilliant in your comics. What can we expect of her in the future? Perhaps a full story arc around her? This question was submitted by Hannibal: 4. How do you decide which toys exist in your verse? And how loose is the integration? For example: we have seen Star Trek characters, are we to assume that there is an entire crew of those guys? This question was submitted by Hannibal: 5. With the addition of the army men, has the 1/18th barrier been broken? This question was submitted by Interrogator: 6. What was the idea of “Cards, Knives & the Videotape”? This question was submitted by Interrogator: 7. Will we be seeing more of Gambit & Deadpool or Dick Wanker? This question was submitted by Interrogator: 8. “Book of Dread” is looking really cool. Is this going to be like “Plastic Gear Solid”? This question was submitted by Topside: 9. Where do you get all the figures you use in the comics? Are they all from your collection? Do your friends loan you some if you have an idea but not the figure(s) to make it work? This question was submitted by Topside: 10. Some longtime fans have screen names that correspond to actual Joes or cobras. Have you ever considered a storyline to include them? What about one with self customs? This question was submitted by Money-B: 11. In the current arc, we see for the first time the appearance of the little green men. Will they be reoccurring characters or will this be there only time to shine? This question was submitted by Money-B: 12. The current story arc is progressing very quickly. How long will it last? This question was submitted by Money-B: 13. You have done some very amusing crossovers. What other characters will we see in the future? And what characters will we definitely see again? This question was submitted by Money-B: 14. As you already know I’m a huge Cobra fan. Will there be more stories focusing on Cobra in the future? This question was submitted by Money-B: 15. The one serious arc is one of my all time favorites. Will you be making more of the Resolute style arcs? This is double the size of the normal Q & A's. I hope that's okay. |
