Oh man, I haven't checked this out in a while and I totally missed this one! Sorry for that Leet! Having said that, this one is pure awesomesauce! I need a Hoser fig!

I deliberately avoided using the word "eh" in that comic. You might notice there were no polar bears or hockey players, either. And not a single tuque (good thing I didn't use that RoC Shipwreck)! That being said, I do legitimately say "eh" a lot, which allows for discussion to continue. My brother's British friend likes the idea of "eh" because it turns the sentence into a question which invites a response. That's how I use it, anyway.

Oh and I forgot to mention, the building I worked at before I moved down here had the CSIS headquarters in it. The summer after I left, they uncovered a plot to bomb that building and stopped it. It was supposed to happen the day they were going to storm Parliament and execute the Prime Minister. Craziness! That building was right by the CN Tower and Rogers Centre (formally known as Skydome).
Anyway, back to catching up! |

Anyway, back to catching up! A plot to take out the Prime Minister? Hrm. Depending on which one it was at the time, that might not have been a bad thing... Thanks a lot! I'm having a blast working on it, despite the melodramatic content of the story itself.

No problem, my man! Thanks for dropping by. The H.O.S.E.R. unit was literally built out of spare parts I accumulated during my years of Stikfas collecting. And thanks a lot for hooking me up with Guardian, by the way. I've only read of a single sighting in my area. One single figure, and it was reported by the dude who bought it. The Marvel figures really suck up here. How ironic that I had to get the leader of Alpha Flight, the Canadian superhero team, mailed to me from Texas! Thanks, though, I appreciate it.

I wouldn't know, I've never had it. In my high school Chemistry class, we had this one experiment about burning doughnuts (something about calories, I think). The Krappy Kreme one ignited like a mothertrucker.

P-please, never say that again. I feel nauseous.

Woah, far out! Have you read the book SpyWorld, by Mike Frost, a Canadian man whose live was pretty much ruined after his time working with the CSE? That book was amazing.

You just reminded me that I will never, ever own a decent Phase 3 Dark Trooper figure, a toy I've wanted since 1995. And when they DID make one, he was the BAD of a Walmart-exclusive line of overpriced boxed figures no one wanted. The BAD pieces themselves go for more than single-carded figures. Feels bad, man.

Yeah I hear that. They packed those pieces with lacklustre figs. Some guys got lucky and nabbed them on clearance right off the bat. I still see the Anakin/SBD set around on clearance, but I don't want to pick it up and then get sucked into completing the BAD since it'll probably cost a pretty penny.

Oh my bad man! I didn't remember what all was in those sets, I was just going off of that Anakin/SBD set. I think I'm getting them confused with the first WM wave of BADs. In THAT set, the only fig that I thought was pretty cool was the R2.
