So I was looking for hiss tanks, any hiss tanks, and that came up in the search. I saw $9.99 in hand and thought, man...that's not too bad. Oh wait, $13.99 for standard flat rate shipping service plus $3.99 for insurance. OK there chief.... Last edited by Fast_Draw; 04-27-2008 at 10:05 PM.. |

So, anything over $5.25 for 1 figure is a rip off. If you use First Class Mail (this is what I use for single figs), it is cheaper and just as fast. The maximum weight for First Class Mail is 13 oz. One MOC figure is about 2 to 3 oz. but don't forget about the shipping box though - which sometimes is heavier than the figure itself but still below 13 oz. Hope this helps. |

a lot of people on ebay are over charging for shipping. i never bid on these and if a lot of others followed suit then they would be forced to lower these.

yup. Sellers entice the buyers by having a low listing price but waaaay overcharge for shipping since eBay fees doesn't include shipping costs. I am a seller on eBay and my listing price is higher than these guys but I'm consistently one of the lower shippers. I pay more eBay fees but I have no problem selling my items. I know the shipping rates so I try not to buy from sellers that overcharge more than $2 on shipping.

I've been watching, or was watching, the eBay auctions for wave 7 before I went to work, and this guy's shipping started at $8, which is pretty reasonable, and then now I see its gone up to $14! He does have some of the cheaper wave 7 figures, but in all honesty the balance is the shipping. Shipping on different figures from him, is also a different price ($13 for Viper/Duke, $15 for Spirit/Wild Bill). Maybe he switched the shipping and auction price?
