Kay, so I was checking E-Bay for Custom 25th Anny toys, and found a figure that was called
"Crimson Gaurd Disguise Snake Eyes" The figure was a, lol, "custom" of Snake Eyes. It was a Crimson Gaurd fig with a Commando SE head with a removable CG helmet from the comic pack. Oh, and he was claiming it was one of a kind and charging "Buy it now" for $45!!!!!!!!!!!!! The seller decided to take it down, though, otherwise I would have posted it here for you all to see. He added that for an additional $20, an accompanying Snow Job could be added. Seriously, what a rube. Here's hoping no one bought it. |

nah i didn't see that one, or the auctions where someone with zero or one feedback puts up pre 1985 joes moc pics from someone elses web page or auction (straight thieves) and everyone bids on them and then realizes "shucks" this seller has no feedback, there are like 8 up like that right now where there are like 15 bids up to 600 bucks and the bids just stop because people realize. what the hell am i doing. you got to read those auctions before bidding on them hahaahahha it's crazy. gi joe is hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it's just going to get hotter every 6-8 months because collectors are inteilligent folks and are just going to continue to make more and more money and be able to afford expensive pieces.

I saw that or one like it. Snake Eyes and another figure, Duke(I think)in CG disguise. Looks like the guy was baseing it off that unreleased/cancelled ARAH Snake Eyes in CG disguise from a few years back.

lol. Please tell me you made that as a joke, man.
I think he was basing the figure on the Antartic Special Missions issue from DD, as it stated he could throw in Snow Job. |

I saw a guy a couple weeks back selling a "gung ho variant" basically what he did was he "carefully" removed the old gung ho from the package and replaced it with the one from the 5 pack with the gold anchor on his hat. It went for $40. I swear people dont read anything that they buy. I used to make "replicards" for my vintage star wars figures. I would mount them on the cards and list the for 99 cents. I clearly stated they were "replicards" and not original by any means. But i would get those people who would bid like $300.
Heres an example of how i list my items so you guys dont think im trying to scam people as well :P haha http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=200191835152 |
