As the title implies, I have been on a week hiatus, protesting ebay's unfair 'improvements' that are soon coming to their site.
Just reopened the store: http://stores.ebay.com/Flammend-Schadel-Studios Store will remain up till the first week of May, with more items coming soon, including more helms, a MASSIVE Star Wars memoribilia collection, and a lot auction for several LOTR figs made based on the books (released pre movie). After that, well, I don't know where we will be going, but we will no longer do business on ebay. As a side note, the CC helm we feature is identical to the one used twice now on G4TV's 'Attack of the Show'. (It was purchased from us by one of their production team) -Viper 486 out. Oh my god these are incredible. I was thinking of doing a trooper for Halloween or convention. I am really impressed. (Prices somewhat high...) How many other people on this forum have purchased from you? THESE ARE TOO COOL (They need to be let out of the freezer)

Actually, for hand cast fiberglass, the prices are pretty fair, especially since they arrive at your doorstep finished, and ready to wear right out of the box.
None of the helms is plastic or vac formed, they are all are cast in fiberglass, and finished and detailed by professional artists. These arent cheap flimsy costume pieces, but rather sturdy functional props that will last a lifetime. As for purchases from people here, I dunno, none as far as I know. |

Hrmmmm....those LOTR figs are tempting. I'm a big Lord of the Rings geek, with loads and loads of the movie figs, and I wouldn't mind grabbing those for variety's sake.
Might have to see when the ol' tax return is comin' in.

Ebay's official announcement was that although they know the changes are unpopular, and there was a large concerted effort to protest them, they are going thru with them anyways. Which means I will no longer be selling thru there as of the ffirst week of May. Not sure if we will be finding another online retailer, or just setting up our own store. The staff havent decided yet, and we have time. We will definately be showing up at more cons now, as a way of letting people know we are out there, as well as pushing the film and theatrical side of the studio harder. |
