your time needs to be factored in this as well. you will get the most $$$ selling individual. but it can take hours to sort, take individual pictures, list them, ship individualy, ect. What is your time worth to you?
other option is throwing them in a lot, you wont make as much but it wont cost you as much in fees, you only have to deal with shipping once, and it wont take anywere near as much time. id be interested in getting the lot depending on the price. let me know.

If you account for ebay fees I disagree, You can sell stuff on here cheaper then you would have to on ebay and still make more money for yourself. Also if you are looking for fast transactions here is the place to do it.
I'm moving at the moment and bought a collection that I should probably have passed on purely because of my situation. I sold 40 items last saturday. Sure I have a few pieces still hangin around but over all most of it went in a day or 2. It also makes me feel a bit better that I'm selling to people I like |

Ebay is not the only market. I have used iOffer with great success. No listing fees, bigger pics and you just pay a final value fee, which is a smaller percentage than ebays. Also, you can take money orders on there, which ebay doesn't "allow" anymore.

You might wanna consider selling them by waves (1982, 1983, etc)or selling them by lots of the same character (i.e. all snake-eyes in one lot, all dukes in another etc.) Also it would be alot cheaper to ship. The actual shipping cost on 7 or so loose figures wouldn't be more than 5 or 6 bucks including insurance. Or since you're new to ebay you could offer free shipping just to drum up more interest. I would think that you could get top dollar by selling them in waves on here or on ebay. |

Although after X-mas I actually may be announcing the sale of my company, and introducing a new item that just may take the action figure world by storm! (Let's hope LOL). If anyone is interested in the possible sale of the store LMK but I warn you, it will be $125,000 or more if I decide to sell. And overhead is about $1500 a month with ebay and paypal fees factored in (Shipping is covered by the customer). Good thing is, you won't have to do anything other than update quantities and pack and ship, all the hard works done : - ) I know shamless plug, sorry: - ) To get back to your problem - if you have the time, list them individually, if you want to sell as a lot, I buy colelctions now and part them out in my store, so I would buy your collection too if you don't have the time.

You are right, he should definitely list here first...but individual or as a lot? Yet another problem with individual sales is that all your good stuff will go first, and you will sit on the common stuff longer...or forever.

yeah as soon as I get done with the Doctor tomorrow, I will start making a list and then scan and paste it into the post here I am almost 99% sure I will sell as one whole lot. Just easier to sell as one. Plus the bonus of knowing it's going to someone who loves joes as much as I do Ty again all for the posts really appreciate the feedback

Don't sell yourself short here. Use Ebay and research what your items are worth. Than clearly state your asking price and consider reasonable offers. Also, if you plan to sell on ebay use this site for hosting images.
