It is a hair under 6 thousands dollars so at least that is something to consider.

I could not disagree any more with that statement. Places like Brians Toys, SmallJoes, BBTS and others all place orders for new items as a retail organization. They obviously do not place the large orders that Toys R Us or Target orders and subsequently do not receive the same bulk discount. They can price merchandise that they buy through Hasbro at anything they want. If you cannot find it in Toys R Us it is not through any fault of them. They have no obligation nor financial reason to match Toys R Us. If you want TRU or Walmart prices go there.

I think buy it now auctions are one flat price to list. If you list it as an auction the price would matter but I'm pretty sure a buy it now should only be the listing fee and whatever the option for best offer costs. Buy it nows actually have a higher final value fee though. I have not sold in a few months so this could be off.

Ahh, another fine collectible that has appreciated considerably due to AFA grading. I guess whoever buys the $18000 Flagg will buy this as well.
I think the $5999 thing vs $6000 might be due to a pricing threshold with ebay. Staying under $6000 probably costs less for the seller to list. Just a guess. |

I hate AHA grading. I understand why it exists and I can appreciate it...but for a poor boy like me it just makes it that much harder for me to acquire things I may want.
As for Brianstoys.com.....that place is becoming a rich man's store IMO.

I think he's missing a decimal point somewhere in there. I'd offer 5.99 for it.
