My own personal opinion is that if I were to pay around $45, I'd like the actual figure, not a certificate.
like I said, if it doesn't sell, then they lose the sale, but what purpose does scrutinizing someone serve because they feel what they have is worth a certain amount. I won't tell you what you r collection is worth and you should do the same. nobody should complain if I ask too much for an item because it doesn't effect them, unless they are willing to offer me more for an item if I ask too little for it. case in point, I listed my custom MOC Manleh for sale for $50, and nobody bought it. had someone posted that they didn't think it was worth that much, I would have told them to take a hike, their opinion was irrelevant. nothing constructive could come from that. that was how much it was worth to me and I wasn't willing to sell it for less. that is why I listed it at that price. It didn't sell, so I kept it. but when I ask for a price, that is all I care about, not anyone's opinion on the matter. but I am not going to sell it for less just because someone else wants it for less if I have a value of the item that I am only willing to part with it at. [QUOTE=Mr. G]Guys this is really a bargain...jump on it.
This is why I even responded in the first place. He said it was a bargin in a sales pitch way so I responded. It was just an after thought, not a rant. |

If you can't sell it at that price but you may want to lower it a bit. You state in your auction that collecting 6 sets would run over $60 which is true...but that would get you 12 figs + 6 comics + 1 DOC...
Or for $45 you can get 1 DOC with your deal... Me personally (and I may be speaking for the majority here), I'd rather drop the extra $20 and get all of that stuff compared to spending $45 for one fig. Just some constructive criticism. |

When HTS had the AFA Gold Destros for sale, everyone started complaining. Did that hurt Hasbro's feelings? No, because at the end of the day, it's all about business. Last edited by CG76; 01-10-2008 at 08:57 AM.. |

Personally, i'd rather buy the comic packs and send it in myself but for someone who doesn't want the comic packs, it's not too bad of a deal. If they have battle points they'll still be able to send in for the additional DOC figures. Oh and BTW - check it out there are more auctions up for the redemption certs. go figure!
