Yeah, go for it. Ebay doesn't do shit for people who are getting scammed. But when it's scammers, they seem to go out of their way to HELP them get away with it.
Ebay makes no sense. Cents...yeah, that they make in loads.

i looked through ebay's email policys and dont see anything saying you cant email someone about this. Maybe the only thing they might hit you on is SPAM???? but i doubt it. I have emailed buyers numerous times about scammers and the crap they are selling and nothing has ever happened to me. I think you will be ok as longs as you arent sending threats to the scammer himself

I'd go ahead and warn the buyer, so long as it is justified and not unfounded slander. Does the seller have a number of negative feedbacks? Is your personal experience with them noted in the feedback? If so, just direct the potential buyer towards the negative feedback and let them know you personally were defrauded by the seller.
However, if you're just looking at a picture, description and title, I might be careful. You can pose a question to a seller, and ask them to confirm the legitimacy of the item. I would also, just out of due diligence, let eBay know that the seller appears to be lying in their auction. I personally wish ebay would employ a couple of "authenticity detectives" to suss this stuff out on their dime. |

This guy has a third ebay name now b/c the first got shut down, the second is in the crapper and so he opened a third. I was directed to a website that had a thread dedicated to his scamming ass. PLus I have dealt with him (both buying and selling) and I am tired of his shit.
