Thank you, im glad now that i insisted on going through Paypal and Ebay!! I hope i am wrong but this makes sense now why he did not want to do this deal through them. I think now that he knew it was re-sealed,if i would have done it outside of Ebay and Paypal i would have been S.O.L.!!

I had a positive transaction on eBay from Destro_triple_win ... I bought a factory sealed 25th Anniversary case from him and shipped the case to AFA and they all came back with the U grading so it was indeed a factory sealed case.
I believe I have had conversations with two different individuals (one on here and another on yojoe.com) about this seller and they said they got ripped off badly and in a very sneaky manner by this person.

Yeah, that box does look like garbage, and not worth grading, that's for dang sure.

I had been talking on/off to the seller for a few weeks prior to the deal,I told him i REALLY wanted the item for grading-he told me over and over how much i was saving buying it fom him since it wasnt perfect, but that i was getting it for dirt cheap! I agreed to buy it since it had been listed and not sold a few times, and he agreed to wait for the payment since he was "willing to let me buy it for such a deal". |

Sounds pretty vague to me. How long did he agree to wait for the payment, and how long did you say it would take you to pay him? |

The photo showing the box flap with the circled ink "24" plainly depicts a laughably bad reseal. You can clearly see the torn area of the left tape's original position. The right tape has been reapplied as well as evidenced by the underlying box-art's interrupted lines.
This is so obviously a reseal that if I were the seller, I'd just defend my description as farcical parody. In fact, "AFA75"? Maybe the whole description is supposed to be a joke. As a rule, I'd strongly discourage anyone from buying a "MISB" or "MOC" ungraded item from anyone who regularly sells or brags about their graded collection. They'll say, "oh, I don't have the money to get it graded right now," or "don't have the time," but more often than not, it's that the item is resealed or touched up. |
