I pulled the trigger on them. Had a couple of contacts at SDCC that weren't able to get the exclusives. They'll be on HTS Monday, no telling how quickly they will sell out (they will sell out, though). IF they're on there and don't sell out in 5 min, I'll get them and put them up on ebay. The prices should stay around 48 - 50, so I can recoup my cost. Not really a lot to loose!

Your strategy only works: a) if these are released in as limited quantities as the Destros were last year, and/or b) if people want them to the same extent as, or moreso than, they wanted last year's exclusives after the initial furor dies down. I speculate that there will be more of these (because Hasbro realizes that they will sell), and that the demand won't be so high (b/c of the non-25th body, and the general lack of coolness of these figures), but. . .at this point, this is all speculation. Did Hasbro ever release the production numbers on these?

Whatever the case, good luck with your plan.

I thought someone posted that 10,000 were made of each CC. Does that make sense to limit the blue version to 1 if they have the same production numbers?
