You might want to take the time to update shipping, I really don't see you selling much at those high shipping costs.
Priority mail for under 1 lb is only $4.75, first class is alot cheaper especially if you get $.50 envelopes. Nowadays buyers know the costs of shipping, and they hate having to spend extra on shipping if they don't have to. |

While what you are all saying is true, being a sometimes seller on eBay myself, I understand charging more than the actual "shipping" price. I usually add $1.50-2.00 per item to partially cover material, time, and most importantly, eBay and Paypal fees (plus, if a seller has to drive to the P.O., then those insane gas prices have to be accounted for). If casual sellers only charged actual shipping, then they would end up eating all kinds of costs. I agree that Chris L will have a hard time selling many of his figures with the shipping price that he has listed, though. The flat-rate route is not the best, unless you have something relatively small and really heavy.
If you are shipping loose figs, though, it might be worth your while to go to Sam's Club or Wal-Mart and buy a box of small, padded envelopes. At Sam's, you can get 25 for 6-7 bucks. Then, you can ship First Class for less than 3 bucks for most things (charge $4 or so for shipping to help cover fees), and boost your sales. |

I've purchased almost my entire vintage collection on ebay over the years and one of the biggest factors in how much I bid is how much I have to pay for shipping. If a seller has cheaper shipping prices, closer to what I think is actual shipping, I am more likely to bid higher for each item, and more likely to bid on additional items for sale from the same seller.
Just a thought.
