I'm just glad the ordeal is over with! | What surprised me about the whole thing was that all of the posts were in 2 or 3 days, that I remember. He had a very good rep from what I could see but he just decided to throw it out the window when he started dealing with you. He has some cool figures but to act like he did was something else. This whole thing could have simply been avoided if he had just said he had misplaced it, forgot about it, or whatever. I would even have gone so far as to say he could have saved his rep by saying he screwed up even after saying it was just a toy and for you to chill but when he edited all his posts, created a new account to praise himself, and even went behind your back PMing others he lost any chance he had of keeping his rep with this community and any respect he had.
I think I saw your feedback when I was looking at his rep thinking about ordering from him. I don't think I thought ill of you at the time (being one out of so many I usually side with the seller and I didn't know it was you) but if I did I apologize. In the end it didn't matter since the items I wanted went for higher than I wanted to pay (again, I'm kind of cheap with these things).
I hope he learned his lesson and if he has I would consider doing business with him but I think some time will have to pass first. Like you said it is done and behind you now. I really don't see what else I can say about it so I will try not to derail this thread further.

Brother, don't worry about a thing! You aren't derailing anything...that's what this thread is here for...to talk about unsavory transactions with eBay Sellers & Buyers alike!
I also couldn't agree with you more. If he would've been upfront with me, he would've seen A LOT more money from me as he had a lot of stuff that I wanted. I always buy "1 test figure" to see what a seller's practices are. If they're up to par, I buy a whole lot more. Unfortunately, he lied the whole time, disrespected Cobra Island and it's rules...and then pm'ed my girlfriend to tell her that she shouldn't trust me! LMAO!
As for siding with anyone, no apologies needed Death. Remember this, Paesan: There's always 3 sides to the story...one of them being the truth. I'm just glad that actions speak louder than words, because his actions are what hurt his rep.
Well, I'm starting to ramble on, so meh |

looks like he's up to his shadiness again...here's what I just received via eBay from another Member:
"Question from gimp1491
Activity with gimp1491 (last 90 days):
- I have bid on 0 items from gimp1491
gimp1491( 36)
Positive feedback: 100%

this is gimp1491 i see you left a neg feedback for amazing spiderman.did you receive your item and did he ask you to do a feedback retraction?he asked me to and i did like a idiot because he said he would'nt mail out my item until i did and also left a neg feedback for me.i'm just wondering if he tried the same thing with you.let me know please.gimp1491 "
I checked out his feedback and it's legit: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...serid=gimp1491
Some people never learn. I told this guy to contact eBay and file a complaint since $heister$cam is guilty of feedback extortion. Then I told him to post on the boards. People need to learn about this creep. |

Your right, I agree 100%.
C.I.A.D., do you know if gimp1491 received the figure yet? A$ also retracted his negative feedback that he left gimp1491. I guess he will stay off my list for a lot long after that.

I received another message from Gimp, and to answer your question, no Sir, he hasn't received anything.
A$ basically used feedback to extort this guy. A$ supposedly told him that he would not ship anything until the feedback was removed. Being somewhat of a noob, Gimp did as A$ asked....and low & behold...nothing received yet.
I really hope Gimp gets what is rightfully his. And that A$ gets what he rightfully deserves. |

I'm really starting to wounder just how much of A$'s positive feedback is deserved. Your dealing was bad enough but this is something else. I hope this works out for Gimp. That Doc figure is nice, at least as far as I can tell from the photo. I hope Gimp e-mails you when and if the figure arrives because I really want to know how it turns out.

I have been veering farther and farther away from ebay...there is a select few who are in my favorites list and I normally buy from them alone anymore - I find it safer that way.
Speaking of that...CIAD, you better start stocking your store with stuff that I want. LOL |

But, as to not derail the thread, back to the topic at hand:
I couldn't agree more. It's a real damn shame that people have to get over on....of all things...a customer. Certain people seem to think that they're the ones doing you a favor when you buy something from them.
I've never treated my customers that way, and I'll be damned if someone thinks they'll treat me that way. |

"Hi Gimp - I hope this message finds you well and enjoying your weekend so far. I wanted to touch base with you and see if you had received your figure from amazing$piderman as of yet. As mentioned, there are several threads about this individual on quite a few G.I.Joe related Message boards, and members, including myself, are inquiring as to the status of your deal. Feel free to contact me at your convenience. Thanks! - Best, Erick"
I really hope this guy gets his figure. |
