The Robot Rebellion has Begun…
Half-human and half-machine, Overkill is the ambitious leader of the Cobra B.A.T. army. He has covertly been plotting to destroy Cobra Commander and to lead his legions of Battle Android Troopers to World domination. Sensing that the right moment has arrived, Overkill’s troops turn on their human masters and take over all of Cobra’s B.A.T. factories around the World. From these staging points, they strike at several nations simultaneously. Unprepared for an all-out assault by legions of robot troopers, the military forces of these nations fall quickly. Now, controlling vast industrial resources, Overkill turns his attention to destroying Cobra and G.I. Joe… About this project: This project is based on Robot Rebellion, the rumoured follow-up to Valor vs Venom in 2005-2006. Apparently, several figures and vehicles were planned for this line. Unfortunately, Hasbro decided to put the 3 ¾’’ line on hiatus instead. The break was short-lived. Robot Rebellion morphed into the DTC line and some elements were rolled into Sigma 6. My first custom is loosely-based on the GIJCC’s Cobra Commander. They used the tooling developed for Robot Rebellion Cobra Commander to give us the free club figure in 2008. You can check it out here: Reviews added to the Review Archive – TRU Bench Press and Snow Serpent | Generals Joes - A blog about the importance (or unimportance) of little plastic men ... cc_cc.html I had been wanting to do a black costume Cobra Commander and I was mostly done piecing the figure together when I realised that it bore a good resemblance to the club figure. That’s how this project got started… Anyway, enough babbling, here is the first figure in the line: Cobra Commander. Stay tuned for more in the next few days. Nicely done. Is his mask removeable like the Club version?
I have the club figure and I think it's a really great design. Sadly, it doesn't fit in with my 25th/Modern figures at all.

Thanks! The hood isn't removable, but a quick head swap with ROC Beach Head and voilÃ*, just like the club version.
