As I said in the original thread, if Hasbro were to release the DTC HISS like this as the "official" 25th anniversary HISS, I think we would all gladly take it.
This is a perfect update of the classic HISS. Hasbro dropped the ball with the paint app they gave it for the DTC line. I'm sure we all scratched our heads over this back then, asking: "why not all black???"
one more thing though: didja think about adding some artillery for the turret? Not "cannons" like the vintage HISS... something realistic this time around.
Perhaps you adressed this issue in the other thread and didn't see it.
That thing is just too cool for words. I'm not a big dry brush fan because I think most folks get carried away, but the weathering here really works. I could stare at this thing for hours- really cool. The detail work and all of the improvements made to the troop compartment are spectacular. You've made a great idea tons better. This is definately one of those projects that I could envision, but never try to complete because of the seemingingly massive amount of work. Now I can just look at yours! It's like bbi made a Hiss Tank!
