My father has always said "necessity is the mother of all invention", very true. My stupid gung-ho and roadblock figs always fall over. Now its not so bad since they added the second peg. That being said, here's how you fix the earlier figs. hope it helps you out!

what you need-
Drill bit: size 3/32"
One knee peg
Figure stand

dill out the base from the bottom up insert the peg ( which should fit tightly if done right) then just place your fig. TAH-DAH!

the last pic is bad but I'm holding Gung-ho sideways and he's staying in place.

This is something I've been wanting to do with Cobra stands, adding a second peg. As for the Joes being rereleased/redecoed I just use the new 2 peg Joe stands on my default of every character.

That's a good idea I may try for my Gung-Ho and those pesky Cobra stands with just one peg. Where do you get the peg though?

I just turn the stands around backwards, but great idea !

That's a good idea. If you don't have a knee joint or don't want to use one, try 3/32" styrene tubing. It fits the feet perfectly.
