Anyone take apart a Ninja Force figure?!?!

Just wondering I have always wanted to take these apart to remove the spring action crap from these figures ( as well as a new paint scheme).....problem is no screw, just the glue.

Now I know you can cut through the glue to get in there.....did it with my Zandar and Zartan to replace an o-ring, but what about these guys? Z& Z at least had a screw as well to go along with their glue.

Anyone done it....any tips? I only have one of each of these guys and don't want an unfixable situation on my hands. Is there a way to drill a hole for a screw, I mean is there enough space for a screw?

Any help would be appreciated.

You'll have to glue them back together. What I did for my Ninja Force Storm Shadow was this:

Mine had the two pegs on the bottom of torso, I shaved those off using an exacto knife. Then I started from the bottom where it would be unseen and used the knife to start cracking open the torso along the seam and then pried it open from the bottom. Don't use too much force or you might break the torso. After I opened him, I removed all the internals and added tape around the shoulder pins of the figure so the arms would be tight and not floppy. I drilled a hole in his back that was just big enough for the backpack holes. That way I was able to put a backpack on him. I glued him back together and suddenly, I have a almost normal version of a Ninja Force Storm Shadow with backpack hole and no spring action.

I have but I've done so the hard way...using pliers, a pair of scissors, and an Xacto knife.
