with a little help from DarthBrett (thanks for the web gear) and some advice from SPC Airborne and GI Eddie I am now DONE with my Ripcord. SPC Airborne's was great and perfect but I wanted something that looked like it was from the 80's. I kept it close to the original but with a few minor updates. The camo sucked on the original one. The green was uneven and looked wrong. So I added brown to mine to make up for that. I have a ruck sack but it isn't on him and I'm keeping it off because the original figure didn't have one. The head is Hawk with new hair. I have two different heads that I use. The one with the helmet and mask is a cobra trooper. Now that I have wasted enough of your time here he is......
full gear back no helmet with some other Joes.

Have you tried using the Intoyz SWAT goggles? or BBI one`s?
As for breathing mask, well why not use the JvC Duke helmet which has the mask already apart of it then make a hose? Just an observation here though why not go for giving him a HALO chute instead of a traditional clip & jump chute? Have you tried using the original Ripcord chute or maybe the AVAC one? Alternativily Dusty Trails did a US Army HALO jumper. You could use the chute, helmet & mask from that maybe? Some dremelling will be required though. |

Links or something. I was just using some parts I had laying around and was pretty happy with the way it was looking. Also I'm expecting Hasbro to release it's own Ripcord so I kind of want another jumper once they do it. |

The chute is my only gripe too. That's the T-10 main and MIRPs reserve that I jump. It's not a HALO chute at all. Don't use the original Ripcord or AVAC chutes either b/c even though they have the HALO pack on the back, they still have a reserve and that's not right either.
Comparison Pics: Me in standard loadout: HALO Loadout(notice, no reserve. Ruck can be on back or front): Here's a short HALO video: |

you need to post a link to the OG Ripcord...no, not original gangsta Marlin Waynes, the classic figure...
i really like the look of the chute at that e-bay link above...is that 1/18th?...that harness looks sweet! |

GI Eddie, yep that figure is 1/18th. Dusty Trails also do a Navy SEAL diver jumper & some WWII one`s (British Red Devil,German Green Devil & of course US Airborne).
All come with working chute. |
