I really like where this is going. Depending on where you go, you could do a mix of fdm and resin depending on the design to maximize efficiency/cost/time.
Have you thought of a more flexible/giving filament for parts like the ball joints? I'm still printing in pla as I don't yet have an enclosure but would love to try flexible stuff to try custom tank treads and parts like this. Off to a great start, wish I could do the organic shapes like that, but still using Tinkercad, lol. Love it!

Resin is the primary end goal since once they are printed you can't really tell they were 3d printed. The layer lines aren't really visible. With FDM printing being available as a less attractive but viable option.
You don't need an enclosure for TPU, just have to print slower than you print PLA. You can also use PLA to print tank tread, just have the right design of tread ;) In the pic below the tank I designed uses 100% printed and fully functional in PLA snap fit treads. No additional hardware required for assembly just lots of patience. Quote:

Beta 4 construction under way. Iterations to head neck and shoulder joints, now they fit nice and snug and hold their positions better.

Thanks!
Need to rework the upper arm to elbow connection here a bit, just too hard to click together. My thumb is still killing me pressing these in.

I broke a finger off during assembly, but everything else was successful.

Looks great!
Losing his finger sucks, but it’s better than losing one of your fingers while assembling it |

I started following some Blender sculpting tutorials on YouTube, hoping I get better the more I do it. Here's my progress so far.

Hmmmm. That face reminds me of Repeater's look in the Marvel comics.
