Being so close to Halloween, I wanted a casket...80% of the way done and I started on this instead lol.
The idea is to have this not only fit in with my Mindbender dio but fit on the transport vehicle I have planned for it too. After some more testing, I'll move onto adding details and possibly...possibly, add LEDs. Fingers crossed. If anything as with some other designs, adding lights will be in future versions as I get better printers. For the hinges, flipped the ones from my crate designs and tweaked a tiny bit. First version was too tight for a B.A.T., but may still fit a smaller fig. This version shown is my running prototype and am thrilled with the outcome! Enjoy!!

Awesome! They're like charging stations for the Battle Android Troopers.

Dunno why, but when I read this, all I could think about was the dropships from ExoSquad. Maybe something for a future version. Thanks!! Thank you! Thank you so much! That's pretty much along the lines of what I envision for these. I'm making a large diorama for zombie troopers and B.A.T.s, basically the factory for both. I wanted something for the BATs to be stored in, but also something to fit on the transport I'm working on. I also really like Sataninjaku's idea of these being drop pods.

Somehow missed a few steps in my progress on this, but here's an update. Once I got the main parts fitting right, I went to town on details.
To make printing easier and for better quality of some details, I made all the detail pieces separate. This way, as with some other designs, parts can be printed in different colors and mixed/matched without even painting. The print time is long on these due to the detail, so when I do start offering them, they'll be in limited quantities at first and then custom ordered. Really loving how this is turning out.
