I've been working on the 4 door variant of the VSV. I'm down to one working printer at the moment. I have parts coming in to fix the other two. But, progress continues.

Looking good.
I swear 5 to 10 years ago I saw people claiming you would be able to print replacement parts for these printers yourself. I guess that isn't the case! |

I was considering how to approach a larger vehicle design with a limited print volume, and thought maybe a modular extendible base woudl be good. Then I saw your bus design, matchmad, and knew there was some potential in the idea. Thanks for sharing and good luck with this build.
There certainly are some parts the printers are capable of self-producing, hushed, however they are not star trek replicators/transmetropolitan makers. Also, hard to print replacements when the parts are already broken |

After having some problems with the khaki filament I ordered I decided to just continue printing with another color I had on hand, so Blue it is.

Been working on a functional steering and suspension upgrade for the VSVs. The prototype is done on the frame steering and suspension.

Do you take orders for printing your designs up, for those that don't have a printer?

I could do that, though honestly I’m not sure what to charge for that, I haven’t sat down and calculated the total material used in printing. Of course material costs vary as well depending on brands and colors used. Which design are you interested in?
