I started playing around in Blender designing a helmet and shoulder armor. It would really look better on a resin printer but...

Made the launchers bigger and modified a couple angles, it fits really nice right now.

looks good. how much time do you think it will take to sand out all the printer lines?

Something this small it would be hard to sand them out. The second one I printed at 0.1mm layer height so it is a lot less noticeable. Probably shoot a coat of filler primer on it and they would basically vanish. The first shoulder piece and the helmet were printed at 0.2mm layer height so I could print much faster since I am still prototyping.
Ideally parts this small would be better handled by a resin printer, but I do not have one.

ABS can be smoothed with acetone, but I print in PLA. There is a slicer profile out there that tricks the slicer into thinking every layer is a top layer, it makes prints take WAY longer but supposedly comes out almost perfectly smooth.
