They look great Zap, and the color matching is better than I expected on several of those. Looking forward to the release

So in order to crack the crotch area for these BF/MTF kits on a marauder figure. Should I just use a razor blad or boil it first or what, any help would be great.

I personally use a bench vise to do all of my cracking for Joes, MTF, MU, and whatever else needs it. I only put into the vise what parts I MUST put into the vise - anything I can remove first, I generally remove to give me room to work and to avoid incidental damage of otherwise uninvolved parts. I wrap a shop rag around the figure where it will meet the jaws of the vise to minimize marring of the surface. A bench vise is strong and controlled, which is what I prefer. Other guys like using channel lock pliers with tape on the jaws and/or the figure wrapped in a sock. Then they either squeeze the pliers or - I've read - whack the pliers on the floor. The "plier whacking" method is intended to deliver a sharp shock to the piece to promote seam failure. I've never tried it. If using a bench vise or squeezing the channel lock pliers, you want to go slowly and stop when you hear crunching/cracking or when you feel a slight "give" (you don't always get an audible cue). It's wise to stop, back it open, and check the part when in doubt just in case you missed your sign but the part has already come loose. Sometimes I will also squeeze and release and squeeze again a few times just to try to help work the seam loose. I'm not sure if that ever helps, but on parts that are resisting I usually try it just in case (can't hurt). Sometimes you end up with stress marks on the pieces being cracked even when you are as careful as possible. Sometimes it just happens, so be prepared for that and don't crack anything you aren't willing to risk damaging. I have very good luck with cracking stuff and have only "lost" maybe 4 or 5 things to unintentional damage (at least prior to the Agency Ops and Contract Ops - I've dented and stressed 3 of those waist sections already because the plastic is just do darn soft so I'm not counting those). In 2 of those 4 or 5 cases, an extended hot (nearly boiling) water bath actually made the stress marks completely disappear so that's a tool to keep in your kit if you need to try a last ditch fix on a stressed part. Once you get even one side of the waist to split at the seam you can stop with the vise or pliers and just wedge a tiny flathead screwdriver into the gap. Give it a twist and a pry as needed until the rest pops apart. Let me know if you have any questions. I don't have any photos of the process so I have to rely on words. Things I don't generally bother to do are 1) scoring and 2) boiling prior to cracking. Some people do one or the other of those, but I usually don't. In extreme cases of resistant parts where I REALLY don't want to risk screwing the part up with stress marks or cracks I have been known to pre-score the seams but I've probably only ever done that twice. Scoring tends to leave a gap and I don't like that.

Glad to help. Please post some photos of your project when you're done. I'm always curious to see what people are doing with these!

I received some test prints today of the "no-crack" adapters. I'll post pics later, but the results are good. These new adapters will allow you to attach a BFS torso to a MTF waist **without** having to crack the MTF waist or modify the MTF parts in any way at all. The only permanent modification required is trimming the very bottom of the "love handles" on the male lower torso, but that has always been the case for getting the male torso inside the male waist. The female figures will require absolutely no permanent modification. Best of all, these adapters should work with both the old and new MTF peg styles (I technically still need to test it on a Contract Ops or Agency Ops figure but the top half of those pegs are pretty similar).
Some simple BFS replacement t-bar samples are in as well. Some refinements are needed but it's close. Stay tuned for photos...

I’m sure this has been asked and answered, but I’m lazy. Are there/will there be marauder to Joe adapters? I’d like to put some Joe legs on the jacket-less agency/ T-shirt contractor torsos. I don’t like the marauders laceless moonboots.
