Don't the JP figures use the same-size pegs as Joes? Avatar figures worked with Joe stands and vehicle pegs. I don't think I've tested the JP figures with them, but I'd imagine they work.

Sadly, no. The pegs for JW figures are tiny compared to ME Joes.

Cut out the front window guards the other day. This plastic is a little too soft to get a nice, crisp edge. Any time I try to sand or file it I end up with a stubbornly ragged surface that I have to go back over with an Xacto blade. Does anyone have a remedy for this?
I also removed the two decorative winches on the sides in order to clearly access the area near the dinosaur claw marks that still need filled in and filed smooth. It will also make it easier once I get to the painting phase. I'd like to make something functional, but that's getting a bit beyond what I have the time to do. I have a long line of projects waiting to be finished, and I don't want to get bogged down in superficial details. Maybe once I get caught up and have some free time I can go back and upgrade it, but right now, time is not a surplus commodity I have. Hopefully I'll have time to do some more work on this tomorrow.

when you cut you get a jagged edge or just with sanding and filing? also is the edge like really jacked up or just a little fuzzy?

I tried to cut it with an Xacto blade as even with the window frame as possible, but the angles are weird in some spots. So once I finished cutting, I used a file to even everything out and yeah - comes out fuzzy. Not really terrible, and I think I may be putting clear plastic in for at least the front windows. But I don’t know if there’s something you could apply to the surface to minimize that fuzzy effect or not.

I have an extra lying around that I had temporarily used as a chin turret for True Heroes MH53 helicopter I’m also in the process of customizing. I wanted a more realistic look and decided against it. I’ll see if I can find it and try it out.

hit the fuzz with a heat gun, or hair dryer, if all else fails glide a lighter over it real fast. that should knock down the fuzz right quick. but of course dont do any of that long enough to warp the plastic. if you get the plastic to hot put a wet rag on it
