Over here in Parts Unknown we take what we can get in 3.75 scale, tho Joes may be scarce in the USA they are jack me up on blocks over here. So we do what we can. I found this truck at a local junk store for $10ish and gave it a bit of a work over to accommodate figures. It had some cool play features and now it has even more. Another is available, if anyone wants to pay for shipping (sea mail and air/land is not too bad tho).
Cheers Edit- need to figure out how to do a seat bench. Maybe in corrugated plastic. Last edited by Bubbavader; 07-02-2018 at 04:34 AM.. |

Parts Unknown? Is that where Anthony Bourdain is?

That would mean usury prices and your car is left on blocks afterwards. I was able to get 4x Mars Troopers three packs for about $7 each, not great figs but I still have my wheels!

whats the on/off knob for?
id ditch the knob and the over sized tools. cut out the windows, hinge the doors and put a dreadnoks paint job on it in the reds and blues. put road pig in the driver seat, zarana next to him. ditch the tank thing in the back and put their dreadnok trike back there |

Great ideas. A little beyond my abilities right now, but maybe once I get some better tools.
The knob is to lock the ramp down, it turns 90 degrees. |

just jump right in. when i first started vehicles customs i just had a few screw drivers, a hacksaw, and a dremel. it quickly snowballed from there lol
oh so the knob is pretty useless then. mount a gun on top of it since it alreadt pivots |

I like your idea for a cannon, I have to check what I have that will be suitable. As for the passenger area, I think I will add 2 (or 3?) rows of bench seating and cut a window in the top. This will allow for some extra playability. When I get a dremel, things will be easier, atm I am cutting with an exacto knife and it is slow going.

have you tried a hack saw blade? if you take it out of the saw and just use the blade cutting will go a lot faster.

Thanks for the tip! I assume a small cut needs to be made then the saw inserted and hack away?

you can just use the hacksaw blade. go easy and run the saw along the area and it will bite in and start to make its own hole. i usually go with my dremel and be careful, that gets me most of the way fast then i finish up the corners with the saw blade. saw balde is nice because its fairly thin so your not loosing a lot of material when cutting out things like doors to be re-used. just be sure to wrap a paper towel on the end your going to hold. i put electrical or duck tape over it to help hold the towel on.
