Next thing I wanted to tackle was the interior. I was really sick of the all red look and decided to change a few things.
I really do not want to change the overall look of the Thunder Machine but I still wanted an updated look. I painted the seats black and kept the floor red. I also didn't want the outer runner boards to match the inside, so I painted those black as well. I think the effect looks nice and I still kept that Thunder Machine look. I also wanted the wheels to have a slight touch up, but I didn't think that Thrasher and the other guys wanted "Bling Bling" wheels.
I simply painted the lug nuts chrome and left it at that. Last edited by nerdsgetchicks; 06-24-2009 at 04:51 PM.. |

Next up was the "Knok Dead" 21K Thrust LB. Turbojet.
YOJOE.COM | Dreadnok Thunder Machine This is the piece that I wanted to really stick out on the vehicle, so I went nuts with the chrome intake and the dry brushing. This is by far the MOST important peice on the entire Thunder Machine. Last edited by nerdsgetchicks; 06-24-2009 at 04:52 PM.. |

Next I put the 2 chassis back together to get a look at the progress so far.
I even painted the steering wheel and gauges but didn't go overboard with too much. I just wanted to add a little something that wasn't there before. Last edited by nerdsgetchicks; 06-24-2009 at 05:05 PM.. |

Then I decided to put the wheels and the front end back on.
I also did a little painting (touch up) on the front end as well. I really wanted to keep this as close to the original as possible because this is my second favorite piece on the Thunder Machine! I still have quite a bit of work to do, but I think she is coming along very nicely!! |
