OK no new pics of my Joe room at the moment but I have gotten started building my collection shelves. I ran out of materials (got most of the materials but ran out of the boards I was using as brackets) about half way through. So while waiting to go to the lumber yard to get new ones I started unpacking part of my collection that has been packed and in storage since 2006.
So some really disappointing breaks were found here and there but on the bright side I discovered that in 2005 I bought the Toys-R-Us exclusive Gi Joe Morray. Heck I even fully assembled it and put stickers on it but I have no memory of buying it. I figure I must have, although it is also possible that I got it in a large lot on Ebay, just not sure do not remember doing either. LOL

Here is a little update. I have 4 shelves done have 2 more to do. They are floor to ceiling, 4 foot wide, 8 feet tall and 12 inches deep. I was out of material for a little while so I started unloading a few boxes. Cant really unload them right because need all the shelves done to sort properly. problem is I have barely made it through a quarter of the pile and the shelves are filling up pretty quick. I have everything I need to finish the shelves so they should be done soon.

Well got the overhead structure to fly my planes from built. Also got 8 planes up so far. The angle is not the best but it was taken from where I had access to at the moment so have to make due.

That looks like my own space in a distant past when I still had hopes to getting everything organized. With the numbers of figures and vehicles piling up, that prospect vanished. Over time I bought a lot of big plastic boxes because in Brazil dust happens to be a problem. Today I have some part of my collection displayed in shelves, but most of my more than 4,000 figures, over 300 die-cast cars and more than 350 plastic vehicles are boxed. And every new diorama is preceded by a major search operation. I just can't sell off stuff. That would break my heart.

My figures are boxed. The vehicles had been boxed for the last 8 years when I lost my collection room in the previous house. I am still debating about how to deal with the dust issue. Thinking about an ionic air purifier.
from here on out if I buy something in package I am keeping it in package. I get enough stuff loose that I could not dream of playing with it all. Heck I could never dream of playing with everything that I have.

I have too much fodder. That is the bottom line. Vehicle carcass fodder just takes sooo much space.
