Howdy Folks,
Yup, I know, it's been a while. I had kind of been in a slump. The heavy Assault walker has been mostly dismantled. Not a total decommissioning, just put on the back burner for a min. I picked up this batwing at Big Lots for 4.00. I had to have it....for what? who knew. But it would come in handy one day; and by golly it did. To keep in line with my walker...um...line up. This one falls into a Bradley role. A troop carrier, support vehicle. There is a huge amount of space in the back, inside area. I should be able to fit a squad of troops inside, with a little building out. I also plan to make a drop door and want to make the cockpit a 2 seater. The other arm will have a missile launcher as well. But instead of the chain gun, I will use the (halo) gausse (spelling?) gun. For my purpose, it will be a rail gun. It's good to be back. Be well everyone! |

Yeah, I'm liking this. The main vehicle is a batwing?

Yeah, it had a forward launching figure of some sort. Maybe it was a copter? In any case, it was a Batman toy.
In the first 2 pics, you can see what was a single launcher on either side of the cockpit. Those are now the arms with the ball joints coming from a True Heros mech (1.00 clearance at TRU) The legs are from an AT-PT. |

There is something profoundly frightening about a walker. Maybe it's just me.

Looking good, great use of an absolutely worthless vehicle (in its original incarnation).

Ahhhh! One must imagine the statue within the rock, before one starts chipping away.
In all seriousness. Your right. But I knew this vehicle had potential Dremel. |

This is really cool! That Batwing makes a great base vehicle for this. Its got a cool Battletech vibe to it.
