This thing has such a retro 70s SCI Fi kind of look to it you could easily make it a space ship. I'm sure whatever you decide it will be awesome.

when looking at it from the side. the two columns look like computer towers and the nubs look like seats , maybe a red light some clear sides and the rear two wheels if u decide to do the fender thing , one fender two wheels , those would be my aims maybe a small satellite

These are the wheels that I was thinking of (the ones that I have 2 sets of somewhere in my moving mess) but I think I over estimated their size and that they are actually only 5 inches instead of 6 inches
Toy State 2014 Road Rippers Dodge RAM Monster Truck Motion Lights | eBay Thanks Blood! I managed to locate another of the cheap dump trucks I used for the wheels, so if I decide to add wheels I am set. Still going to play around with treads and consider larger wheels too though. I am leaning toward adding wheels, but still haven't decided 100 percent. I have a week of vacation coming up and I want to make some progress on this while I am off.

Outstanding work so far. Looking forward to seeing some updates as the weather improves.
I've had a junker Eagle for a couple years now; couldn't decide what to do with it: the financial cost of a full restoration was prohibitive and didn't have a clear idea what I wanted it to be. Now I'm thinking spaceship, maybe a transport/launching platform for TARGATs. That robotix canopy is a phenomenal idea that I will probably copy. |
