I've been trying to get into custom vehicle design/fabrication for some time, I've got a bunch of designs I want to work thru, so I thought I'd start with something simple. I've created a sketchup model of the Missile Launcher Pac-Rat. One of my favorites.
I've decided for the ease of fabricating something that would otherwise be pretty small, I'd build this in 1/6 scale rather than 1/18. I also thought it'd make a great desktop decoration. This is the design for it that I've created Pac-Rat Missile Launcher by LodeCreative, on Flickr I'm still working through some of the parts to get them ready for print, but this is what I've got so far. 20150225_155019 by LodeCreative, on Flickr 20150225_155105 by LodeCreative, on Flickr As you can see, it's going to be big. |

How big is the finished product going to be i would be a buyer of a handful of them as long as the price point isnt crazy ,maybe i would still be even then as well ,ive been debating on getting one just to make parts etc for customs .

This has the dimensions for this one, but as long as it's printed, it could be scaled as needed. Likely, if there was interest in purchase of multiples, i'd go on and cast some molds of it, as the prints take hours per part. |
