Not happy with the way the front panel turned out, going to rework and reprint. The way most filament printers work, they heat the build platform to help the model stick while it builds, unfortunately this one warped while it printed so the front and back panels don't mate properly. I'm going to rework both to print vertically instead of laying down. I'll also work to reduce the amount of support material needed for the build and hopefully make it print a lot faster in the process. This will be done doing a horizontal parting line vs. the vertical that i used here. I'll split it at the opening for the cylinder to fit through. |

to not infringe on the original design and any copyrights, would you rather the cabin area be enclosed with windows? This has a lot of armored booths to look at. ArmoredBooths.com
would naturally keep the 2nd level, may enclose it somehow as well. |

My favorite is a Cobra APC-1. That thing is AWESOME & should be made into an actual toy.
The Wolverine MKII is super-cool & looks a little Howe Bros inspired. The Sand Stinger reminds me of the old-school Hammer, very nice...

we are going to be getting a laser plotter at our office soon, as long as corporate doesn't mind me using it for occasional personal projects, I'd cut the windows out of acrylic, so it will depend on what colors i can source. My brother's got a small laser as well, but limited by size. |

I've been thinking about this one for a while as well as the FLAK, HAL and MMS and the twin battle gun, watch tower, and Air Defense. I'll throw it on the list, will just be awhile before i've got time to do it.

I've got a ton more on my Flickr page as well. I've been culling through it lately re-rendering (have a much improved rendering set up now than when i started doing these) and replacing the old ones. I've been talking with another friend of mine that i've helped some getting ready for his kickstarter launch.... Shameless plug: go check out Arrister - Introducing Parsonal, custom furniture in three simple steps. for more. Afterwhich, we may sit down and discuss some joint toy development. I've got an idea i think would be attractive to collectors, I'll hold my cards for now until we've had time to discuss and rough out the idea better. |
