Picked up the Elite Forces Hind MI-24 set at Target today. I've been after this BBi chopper since getting the October Guard con set back in 2012. It's been a holy grail for my collection since the Marvel ARAH Yearbook #2 (and the Red Dawn movie).
I decided to go traditional with the paint and camo pattern. Here are some WIP shots. It's pretty much done besides some detail work (need to finish the cockpit) and weathering. I'm also working on printing out some stickers. Overall, although undersized, this is a pretty solid little vehicle. The cockpit only seats one, but Daina looks pretty sweet in there and fits perfect. The cargo/passenger area has a pop out door gun that you can sit Stormavik on mowing down Cobras from above. It also has a line and winch to fast rope your Russian Spetnaz from. The only mods I plan to make are picking up a Tomahawk rotor and 5 blades. Go get this at Target before they are all gone and we don't see this mold for another 5 years! No New Joe Product on the Shelves? I'll Improvise... Custom Prep Undersized Scale? Yes, but makes up with pure awesomeness Phase 1: Underbelly and Fuselage Paint (Buff and Middletone Model Paint) Phase 2: Camo (Russian Green Model Paint)

Very cool! Yeah, that 1/18 Elite Force Hind MI-24 is on my list of things to get! I wish that Hasbro would re-release that modern Oktober Guard Convention set out as BBTS exclusive or something; so people like me can get their hands on those figures (..just the Oktober Guard portion of the set)! -That was a great set!

AWESOME! I didn't even know this thing was coming out, I have to get to Target now, apparently. Being a big fan of the OG, I've wanted a good helicopter for them for a while. It's a shame about the cockpit only seating one ME figure, though. Is there any possible room for modifications to get another in there? Maybe cutting some of the front control panel away?

That is a great custom paint job. It will look even better if you can attach the Tomahawk rotor blade to it. I too am a huge fan of the Marvel ARAH Yearbook 2 and still have it in my collection. The October guard story in it is one of my all time favorites.

Cockpit (sorry, can only fit one figure, even if you take out the console):
