Everyone has done one of these but this is mine. I had been holding onto a drop ship for a while when I came across this helicopter in a thrift store, I immediately started grafting it together, now nothing has happened in a couple of weeks, been busy.
Really does not need much more. Just needs a couple more spots glued. some puttying and some paint and it will be ready to rock.

Yeah turning these into helicopters is a no brainer, It is what Hasbro should have done in the first place. I was originally was going to make an updated Swampfire out of it but that changed when I found these parts. I have another one that I may still make into a Swampfire.

Looks great, I like the skids and the tail was fitted very well. Not crazy about the high placement of the missile wings though. Maybe attach them lower on the sides of what looks like the air intakes?
Also, what color are you thinking? So far, we've seen black and Cobra blue (I think) on the tank. I say go with a cool camo or dark green.
