Since first getting my hands on a neighbors TTBP I knew it needed a second layer. Once the legs were fully extended, which is how it should be, it just didn't dock up to the Whale right.
So, fast forward a bunch of years. I purchase a few beat incomplete platforms and cut one up. Thoughts on where to go from here? Any simple windscreen replacement ideas? |

Try the window of box, like what the 50th Anniversary 3 packs come in. Not sure if that would be long enough to wrap around the whole way but it would certainly have some flexibility and be able to bend.

Awesome! I love the TBP.
I restored my old TBP a year or so ago and was all proud about it, now, now I'm less proud. LoL Maybe cut the red ladder down so you can still put it in the slot and use it to go from the extension dock tot he main platform.

Thanks everyone.
This was more of a proof of concept. Now that I know cutting and placement works I can cut a much less yellowed platform. Cross Country, cutting a ladder was part of the plan, but I don't have an extra, so I wanted to get things finalized first. It will work nice. Also a pair of the helipad supports will hang over the water with pulleys as a boat or cargo lift. I am leaning towards a framework around the control area and clear panels, but not sure on the materials. |

Thanks Blood Brigade. Sometimes the simplest answer, right?
