I had no use for the Baroness diver figure so I decided to turn her into an original Cobra agent. Its almost done just have to paint the goggles black and do a little touch up paint. The Baroness's sculpted on glasses posed a major problem in trying to make a new character out of it. But I found an interesting work around.

The woman known as, Andrée Monet grew up on the French Riviera. A trust fund baby Monet spent most of her free time yachting, scuba diving, and frequenting the casinos of Monte Carlo. Unable to manage her money properly Monet amassed a large gambling debt with a casino owned by Extensive Enterprises.
To work off the debt Andrée began using her yacht to smuggle weapons and money for E.E. in the Mediterranean. A skilled diver Monet also worked off her debt recovering corporate secrets and secret technologies from boats sunk by Cobra. Impressed with her skills Xamot and Tomax offered her a 7 figure job to keep working for them. With her trust-fund depleted and wanting to keep her high profile lifestyle Monet accepted the job. Taking the codename Anemone she did many missions for Cobra. Including the mission to retrieve the heavy water element for the MASS Device. In a recent mission Anemone's face was horribly disfigured.

The story behind the scars:
Recently a research vessel carrying a top secret device sank when it hit a reef off the coast of Italy. Anemone was sent to the location via a SDV (Swimmer Delivery Vehicle) fired from a Cobra Sub.
Anemone arrived to discover Deep Six of GI Joe had beaten her to the scene. Anemone quickly severed the umbilical cord supplying Deep Six air. Attempting to quietly eliminate him Anemone latched onto his back to hold him under. But a quick backhand from Deep Six sent her careening to the reef below.
The powerful hit from the exosuit broke Monet's nose and shattered the left side of her face. Blood filled her goggles and she tore them off. Enraged, Monet drew her underwater pistol and fired at Deep Six hitting his suit but unable to get a kill shot through the haze of the reddening water. Monet failed to notice that the smell of blood had attracted one of the reef's inhabitants.
Anemone felt a sudden change in the water behind her and turned just in time to see the jaws of a hungry Moray Eel clamp down over her right eye. Struggling and fighting for her life she managed to stab the eel with her dive knife. Somehow Monet was able to make it back to her SDV and hit the recovery beacon before blacking out.
Recovered by the sub the on board Cobra medics were able to stop the bleeding but it appeared her face was beyond recovery. Luckily for her Dr. Mindbender was on board to study the device she was supposed to recover. Mindbender was able to piece her broken face back together with metal plates and screws. It wasn't pretty but it worked. Anemone has since vowed to kill Deep Six if its the last thing she does.
