Here's a couple of pics of my 25th anniversary Crimson Guard Stinger in the early stages of production. Using the 25th Vamp and parts from the original ARAH Cobra Stinger I'm slowly making progress towards the finish line. Got my Stinger repro stickers from cobrastickers.com along with some Crimson Guard symbols.
So far the dash is done and some interior detailling also. Let me know what you think.

Cobra Crimson, That interior is sick!!! Great job so far, can't wait to see the finished product. If these pics are just a taste of what is to come, I know that it will be outstanding.

Thanks for the praise. After I received the Stinger sticker sheet from cobrastickers.com I didn't know if I really wanted to do the Crimson Guard Stinger or make a regular Stinger. Then we found out that Hasbro will be releasing the Stinger, Arctic Hiss, etc. so I decided to go with the Crimson idea afterall. Hopefully should be done by sometime next week. I might be making a custom Crimson Guard Stinger Driver to go along with this project too.

and some more, note the custom grille/brush guard I made with the 25th Vamp's and the ARAH Stinger's. Scooped the hooks off the Stinger's and cut the ends off and glued 'em on the Vamp's. The last pic is the 2 panels that go on the rear of the Stinger besides the missile launcher.

IT looks pretty good not at all what I was expecting.
Black and red looks sleek, paint job even. The only thing missing is fuzzy dice. But have you considered a turret on that thing. |

Just to let you know, unless you are glueing the rear deck engine parts to the Vamp's vents, you may need to dremel down the edge a bit to fit them into the recessed opening. I trimmed the edges of mine; near the four tubes on the one and a little on the other. You don't need to cut off too much, just a little bit. Nice job on the rambar. Looking forward to seeing the end results. Keep up the good work.
