Can't believe it's been more than a year since I've worked on this thing. Almost forgot I stopped after getting bummed out about the paint job getting chipped all over after the damn cat knocked it over. Well, started back up and making some major changes; however, they're not all easily visible.
At first I liked my weapons system, not so much when I went back to this. Scrapped the previous missile launchers for these that I made not long ago: I did really like how my gattlings came out and decided to keep those, just still trying to reconfigure where the ammo boxes go: The engine was just for fun, got it for a buck on clearance at TrU, pics are more for showing the updated weapons system mocked up: The next thing I wanted to redo were the tires. I just really hated the hollow ones I put over the originals. Found a non-working rc truck at goodwill for 2 bucks to sacrifice. Problem is, I needed more clearance and also found out how difficult it was to work with this particular plastic, no glue would stick permanently. Figured out I could anchor in some styrene in various places to make it work: Needed to make deep cuts on the front to get the new tires to fit. I'll try to box it in so you can't see into the 'engine' compartment from the side. Also had to do some cutting at the back: By some miracle, the tires I wanted to use fit quite well over the originals, making attachment so damn easy. I think I'll try making some sort of hubcap to cover that connection point: The most major modification this time around was cutting part of the hood out. The area was already being used for the batteries, but I like to make it so that if I sell any custom, the batteries are easily replaced. Not sure how I'll re-secure it, but contemplating some small magnets I saw at a local hobby shop:

Dayum, Bro! You are giving me all kinds of ideas! I'm borrowing that gattling gun idea!

By all means! They're actually pretty easy to make.

That looks very promising. And it is great that you show the assembly process so detailed.
