I've had this Fantastic Four movie astronaut figure in my custom bin for a while and finally found a good use for it. Basically I took it apart. Gutted the inside and removed all the action feature parts to make a cavity Joe figures can fit in. I took apart the backpack as well and added hinges to it so it can open and close now. Its still very much a work in progress but I think it works pretty good. Also found a use for some Doctor Octopus tentacles. I cut off the tips of the tentacles, they make great little drone robots.

I've decided to call this custom the S.E.A. S.N.A.K.E.
Submersible Environmental Armor, System: Neutralizer - Armed Kloaking Equipment. I can't believe Hasbro hasn't used the Sea Snake name for a toy yet. Anyway I've applied the first of the paint apps to it. I also hollowed out more of the inside so the figures fit way better now. Heres a pic of it with Deep-Six and the SHARC to show just how big the base figure was. Suggestions on highlight colors to improve the paint scheme will be very appreciated. |
